Rather

The Lord Inquisitor - animated short/trailer which was apparently done as a proof-of-concept for the actual film they’ll make once they get the go-ahead from GW. The voice acting is TERRIBLE, but the rest of it looks proper good!

A second trailer for the Ultramarines animated direct-to-DVD film.

Everything about it looks and sounds pretty terrible, but I’ve still preordered my collector’s edition (only available from the official website).

A second trailer for the Space Marine game that I have posted about here before.

I, for one, cannot wait to begin chainswording Orks.

This looks awful. And yet, I certainly shall be watching it!

But this is the one which is quite frankly leaving my trousers moistened: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, the First-Person Shooter. EDIT: I am informed that rather than an FPS, this is in fact a squad-based tactical game with RPG elements. Nevertheless, my legwear remains far from dry.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online, the upcoming MMO. Looks fun!

A Life in Seven Parts

… is the Warhammer 40,000 play-by-post role playing game that I’m running using the Dark Heresy system.

There’s only one player, who is a friend I recruited especially to do this with. We’re trying to make it more empowering for the player than a standard game might be, and to an extent it’s hard-coded in with what I’ve done with the house rules on Fate Points.

The in-character thread, where all the actual playing happens: http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=471970

The out-of-character thread, where all the babble and behind the scenes stuff happens: http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=471421

This is the first time I’ve run a play-by-post game, so I tend to solicit opinions on the stuff I’ve written - if you fancy reading it check out the in-character thread, and if you want to comment please put it in the out-of-character thread.
